WE CAN 3D SCAN IT ALL, ANYWHERE.

3D scanning is the technology for creating high precision 3D point cloud models of real-world objects and environments. A point cloud is a 3D visualisation made of thousands or even millions of geo-refenced points.

This is a set of data points in space which represents a 3D shape or object. Each point has its set of X, Y and Z coordinates and is coloured via laser beam intensity to show a range of hues or real world 3D SCANNING colour (RGB).

Terrestrial 3D Scanning

TERRESTRIAL 3D SCANNING

OUR TERRESTRIAL 3D SCANNING SERVICES INCLUDE:

  • Heritage structures and deformation analysis

  • Building facades

  • Engineering structures

  • Road and rail infrastructure

  • Construction and engineering surveys

  • Detail and topographic surveys

  • Mechanical plant and processing sites

  • Subsurface utility assets

3D scanning employs the use of terrestrial LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) to create 3D point cloud model datasets.

The use of these technology allows for rapid data collection and the capture of inaccessible surfaces or complex geometrical details.

Mobile & Aerial Laser Scanning

MOBILE & AERIAL LASER SCANNING

OUR MOBILE 3D SCANNING SERVICES INCLUDE:

  • Road and rail infrastructure

  • Mass area topographic surveys

  • Utilities and overhead powerlines

  • Mining

  • Stockpile volumetric calculations and auditing

Mobile and Aerial 3D scanning is an innovative and rapid methodology of collection of vast amounts of data over large areas efficiently and accurately.

By utilising a multitude of high accuracy survey grade instrumentation, Geosurv are able to provide cost effective and tailored mobile 3D scanning solutions to suit any project requirements.

PHOTOGRAMMETRY

OUR PHOTOGRAMMETRY SERVICES INCLUDE:

  • Photo inspections

  • Structure defect mapping

  • Reality and visualisation

  • Project progress monitoring

  • Photorealistic modelling

Photogrammetry gathers measurements and data of an object or site by analysing the change in position from two different images using advanced processing software. Photogrammetry can be carried out either in terrestrial applications or via UAV/aircraft.

Photorealistic models are the output of photogrammetry and is suitable for a multitude of surveying and inspection applications, in which is easy to interpret and intuitive.

DIGITAL TWINNING

OUR DIGITAL TWINNING SERVICES INCLUDE:

  • Building Information Modelling (BIM)

  • 3D As-built Models (Revit & Rhino)

  • 2D CAD drawings

  • Floor flatness & levelness

  • Topographical plans

  • Overhead clearances

  • Plant 3D models

  • Tank inspections

  • Volumetric reports

Digital Twinning is the process of mapping real world assets and creating an accurate blueprint on a digital platform, improving visualisation and integration in the AEC environments.

Allowing all parties easy access to communicate better and accurately identify specific items within any project that might require attention from the initial design, through to construction, occupation and management.
